  Sandalwood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The client
Dr. Bhatti had opened Sandalwood just a few years before we met and was interested in a website and an updated logo to promote his growing practice.

The idea
After meeting with Dr. Bhatti, we proposed series of designs that set up a 'soothing' theme. Surgery is often a stressful event, and the logo and the website should promote confidence in the surgeon as well as ease anxiety. We would do this in two ways: with the gentle look of the marketing materials, and by laying out helpful information in an easy to follow format.

The step up
One of MS Datastep’s strengths is that we provide all of our clients with custom graphic design. Dr. Bhatti is ensured that the look of his website, brochures, logo, and stationary are all unique to Sandalwood OMFS. Even the animated medical illustrations were planned and created by MS Datastep to present procedures as safe and non-intimidating. The design says a great deal about the practice and the way it pays careful attention to patient comfort, aesthetics, and technology. No one-size-fits-all template can accomplish that.

On the website, we included the information that Dr. Bhatti felt is the most useful to his patients. The layout was designed to help guide patients to answers they seek with a minimal amount of time and clicks. We accomplished this by dividing the site up into logical sections (i.e. for patients, for other doctors, treatment details, etc…) and used consistent and obvious navigation. This is yet another example of how the Sandalwood designs are intend to relieve as much frustration and anxiety from patients as possible.

To make sure they are accomplishing their goals of patient satisfaction, a survey was included on the website. It allows patients to tell Dr. Bhatti and the staff how they felt their treatment went. They can fill out the survey at home or work, privately and anonymously, which helps encourage truthfulness and accuracy in the results.

The thoroughness of the corporate identity and marketing package, including the coordination of design, and careful planning of the website, reveals Sandalwood as the professional, talented organization that it is.
